Throughout history, Afghans have worked hard to maintain unity and harmony in their communities, following Islamic teachings.
In the month of Muharram 1426 AH (February 2006), a group of noble community leaders established the Afghan Islamic and Cultural Centre of Hamilton (AICCH) at the home of one of Hamilton’s most respected Afghan families, the honorable Mrs. Pari Gul Salman. The Centre was founded to promote unity of community, strengthen Islamic brotherhood, uphold Islamic values, fulfill religious rituals, and introduce the younger generation to Islamic principles and Afghanistan’s rich culture.
The objectives, principles, organization, and procedures of the Afghan Islamic and Cultural Centre of Hamilton (AICCH) are outlined in this Bylaw.
